Manchester support comes from Shunt Voltage. From northern shires Shunt Voltage manufacture electronic beats where once industrial giants manufactured goods for the World.
Their tracks are a combination of grooves, effects and samples jammed together against a backdrop of acid infused beats. Tracks are mixed live on the fly resulting in something unique every time they play.
The duo have played a sold out show at The Social W1 (London), supported Curses and played the famous Golden Lion. They supported Banco de Gaia at Hebden Bridge Trades Club and will be supporting Banco de Gaia again in Manchester September ‘24. In turn they have been supported by Templehead (Megadog) and Stash Magnetic.
They have released on Heavenly Records, Paisley Dark and Tici Taci and amongst others being remixed by The Sons of Slough, Duncan Gray, Adult DVD and A Space Age Freak Out. Shunt Voltage have recently completed a remix for a Children of the Bong project.
