I was a late starter for parties, at the tender age of 45 when I found myself in a bad place. I would never go near a dance floor, even when drunk. Then a friend dragged me to a warehouse in East London, and I was
hooked, eventually becoming a well known dancer across Europe and the UK.
I reckon I’ve met about 3000+ people over the twenty odd years, some are still dear friends. And of course, I remember going to AAA’s shop next to Camden Town Station, to chill, chat and get tickets.
Now, at retirement age, I was approaching event number 700 before Covid struck. It would be cool to reach that, but in any event, I’ve lived 3 lives during those times.I’ve kept a diary of what I have been able to remember and friends say I should write a book. Maybe. Loz G
