DESCRIPTION:WHIRL-Y-GIG WINTER WARMER – 14TH DECEMBER @ NO90 HIDEOUT\nWe will be returning to No90 Hideout (formerly Studio 9294) in Hackney Wick for Whirl-y-Gig’s Winter Warmer. \nFor this special occasion\, DJ MONKEY PILOT will be joined by CAPTAIN FLATCAP SOUNDSYSTEM\, famous for multi-instrumental live performance and now originator of Flute Powered Multi-Genre Dance Music. You can expect a new energised Soundsystem set embracing a wide range of styles that will keep you jumping with ecstatic delight! \nWHIRL-Y-GIG embodies the spirit of community in a carnival atmosphere. Bathed in rainbow rippling lights and wrapped in exotic decor\, it is a festival of delights for people of all ages and places. \nDance to the Whirl-y-Beat and journey through Whirl-y-Gig’s unique electronic landscape\, where many diverse elements blend into one cohesive and unifying experience. From deep dubstep and hot drum n bass to tropical house\, trippy techno and tribal trance\, the Whirl-y-Mix embraces flavours of Celtic or global\, classical or psychedelic\, pop or rock\, roots and radical. Whether it be African or European\, Arabic or Asian\, British or American\, Whirl-y-Gig finds inspiration from around the world\, yet is firmly rooted in the here and now of London’s alternative club scene. \nWHIRL-Y-GIG is an event difficult to describe and a moment difficult to miss. The following bus services stop in the local area: 26\, 30\, 276\, 339\, 488\, N26 and W15. \n
