DESCRIPTION:Carbon Based Lifeforms  back in London 2025 on 25th April at Earth Theatre \nUpdate: Beautiful Burnouts are happy to announce that the doors will now be open from 6pm with DJ Paulina playing an extended set. Live performances will begin at approximately 7.45pm with Shunt Voltage playing live cosmic acid. Limited CBL Merch will be available including specially commissioned T-Shirts\, Woven Badges and Tote Bags. Looking forward to this show! \nCarbon Based Lifeforms (CBL) are Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Vadestrid based in Goteborg\, Sweden and formed in 1996. \nSince 2002 they have since released 7 official full length albums: ‘Hydroponic Garden’ (2003)\, ‘World of Sleepers’ (2006)\, ‘Interloper’ (2009) and ‘Twenty Three’ (2012)\, ‘Derelicts’ (2017)\, ‘Stochastic’ (2021) and ‘Seeker’ (2023). Their music has been extraordinarily well received by connoisseurs within the ambient scene and well beyond. \nCBL aim to combine earth and space in their music\, using the combination of nature and technology as the main inspiration for their work.\nThey have played all over Europe and the US including many festival appearances such as Symbiosis (US)\, Anthropos (UK) and Ozora (Hungry) and played 2 consecutive sold out shows in London in 2023. \nBrighton\, London and Manchester are their only planned UK shows for 2025.For London this will be a live show with Lasers \nLondon support comes from Shunt Voltage From northern shires Shunt Voltage manufacture electronic beats where once industrial giants manufactured goods for the World. \nTheir tracks are a combination of grooves\, effects and samples jammed together against a backdrop of acid infused beats. Tracks are mixed live on the fly resulting in something unique every time they play. \nThe duo have played a sold out show at The Social W1 (London)\, supported Curses and played the famous Golden Lion. They supported Banco de Gaia at Hebden Bridge Trades Club and will be supporting Banco de Gaia again in Manchester. In turn they have been supported by Templehead (Megadog) and Stash Magnetic. \nThey have released on Heavenly Records\, Paisley Dark and Tici Taci and amongst others being remixed by The Sons of Slough\, Duncan Gray\, Adult DVD and A Space Age Freak Out.
